I know the topic itself is depressing...so if you are someone who doesn't believe in LOVE...I suggest you stop reading right away..because comments like "Oh My God....Mush" or "how pathetic" or anything that sounds like it would not be tolerated...and no matter how sad and depressing you think this post is...i m sure you have been through this feeling / question....
Also, I have written this blog from a guy's point of view so you don't think i m targeting a particular gender....however i am sure the answer is the same for our female friends too....So think twice before you continue.. I give you 10 secs...

WARNING: I am not saying this blog will save you from any future heartbreaks....but it can surely help you with the much needed closure.
Now I am assuming that if you are still reading this post..you are ready to find an answer to your question..
The answer to that is....
That's because you are hoping u r wrong ...and every time she does something that tells u she is no good, you ignore it. Every time she comes through and surprises you, she wins u over and u lose the argument with yourself that she is not for u.
I understand the feeling as small and as insignificant as humanly possible..and how it can actually ache in places that you never knew existed inside you.
It doesn't matter how many new haircuts you get or how many gyms you join or how many glasses of tequila you drink with your friends ...you still go to bed every night going over every detail and wonder what you did wrong or how you could have misunderstood....and how in the hell for that brief moment you thought that you could be that happy.
Sometimes you could even convince yourself that she will see the light and show up at your door ....
....And after all that.. however long all that could be..you go somewhere new...and u meet people who make you feel worthwhile and the little pieces of your soul will finally come back and all that fuzzy stuff...those years of your life that u have wasted..that will eventually begin to fade out...
Ever felt or still feel that way sometimes??...well...write back to me...as they say...बांटने से दर्द कम होता है

ps: Can u remove the word verification thing? It helps.
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder - the problem with this statement is that it also means you can see beauty where there is none. When you're in love with someone, it's very human to overlook all the bad stuff, and view everything through a coloured lens...good post.
DD unfortunately the theory had changed, “Beauty lies in the eye of the BEER holder”. Till the spirits of so call “Pyaar ka Nasha” is high life is smooth as silk but very soon Reality hits and one get enlighten with a thought that “Boss Variety is the spice of life” so….
Tanni, must appreciate the way you convey your views / opinion, its like “Zorr ka Jatka baade pyaar se lage”. Keep this flow running as it’s the fresh air in the polluted world!!
Dear Tanvi - Thank you.
You have put into words, thoughts that I'm struggling to come to terms with. My fiancee called off our engagement with just a couple of months left for marriage. Yes, I am feeling small, insignificant, unwanted, and all such emotions that come from not knowing what went wrong. There is absolutely no closure right now, and I am so badly seeking for it. What do I do? I do not know. Each day is a struggle with me having to put up a brave front to the world outside, knowing well that deep inside of me, I am breaking apart.
I so hope there is light at the end of this struggle. But truth be told Tanvi, I can't see one. I so badly need a bail-out, but nothing seems to be in sight...what do I do? Where do I go? How do I begin? .. the questions plague my mind..
RDN
this does seem to be an old thread.. still hope you do read my thoughts.. I'd be very happy to know that i've been able to share my feelings with someone.
Dear Anonymous,
I understand the pain that you might be going through. I know it hurts to lose someone who you intend to spend your rest of the life with. What hurts more is the excruciating pain you feel when u cant show it to the outside world. Trust me, the situation might be different, but I have been through this as well.
As I have written, its time you make new friends, meet new people, and take a break from all the stuff happening.
Go out, even alone if u can. I did and they were the most memorable 3 days for me. Came back a totally new person.
One thing I can tell you, is that the saying "Everything happens for good" is true, You will eventually realize that in a long run.
Plz dont hesitate to email me if you need a friend. I would be more than happy to lend an ear (eye in case of email...lol) Laugh, it helps heal the pain. :)
Hope to hear again from you, but in case I dont, I wish you lot of happiness and strength for your future. Good Luck.
